Teachers’ beliefs about teaching reading in preschool

The current study describes  a research design about reading motivation in kindergarten. To be more specific, the study is trying to investigate teachers’ beliefs about reading in preschool and their motivation for teaching reading. The method is based on Kostopoulou A., 2005. It is worldwide known, preschool is the basis of children emotional, physical and cognitive development. So, family environment and school play a crucial role on children development. Also, motivations are thought to be very important because empower children to do things. the methodology of the survey is qualitative and it is based on Kostopoulou A., (2005) thesis. Data would be collected through observation, questionnaire and interview. The participants would be kindergarten teachers.
